......Kiwibike can now provide Roadside Assistance for your Motorcycle.

We have been working closely with Journey On Roadside Solutions (www.journeyon.co.nz) to put together Roadside Assistance programs specifically for you, the motorcyclist.

This has now just been completed and we wanted you to be one of the first to know about it.

Journey On will provide up to 3 callouts per year for flat tyre, out of fuel, jump start, rider assistance with directions, accident co-ordination AND emergency tow to the nearest place of safety.

Many of the other Roadside products we studied either didn't provide a tow, or provided a tow to a maximum dollar limit.

Journey On is different, regardless of where you are they will provide you a tow to the nearest place of safety. This would be somewhere like the garage that provided the tow, so your bike is then safely stored while repair options are then being explored. So much better than leaving your bike on the side of the road.

Journey On also have an 'Enhanced' product that provides all the roadside basics as above, PLUS a Medical and Legal advice line you can use as many times as required, as well as a Concierge Service which provides advice such as hotel and motel advice and locations, parts and service locator to help you find the nearest tyre shop etc, along with either Hotel Accommodation and Rental Vehicle for three days in the event of a breakdown when you are more than 100km from home.

Now, just for Kiwibike policy holders, we have managed to negotiate a 15% discount from their standard pricing. This is available on the secure website of Journey On BUT you must enter in the PROMOTIONAL CODE of KB12 . If you don't enter the code KB12, then you don't get the 15% off. If you don't have internet access, you can give us a call and we can process your Journey On on your behalf.
