Kiwibike is based in New Plymouth and it can be argued that some of the best riding roads are nearby.
Founded by Dave Hewer in 1999, Kiwibike Insurance Brokers is a leading supplier of insurance services for motorcyclists. We pride ourselves on being able to offer you a customised insurance policy that is perfect for your needs – not a one-size-fits-all policy. We work with leading insurers including Star Insurance, Swann, NAC Insurance, and Protecta Insurance.

Team Director & Pit Crew
The boss, well he thinks he is!!! Amongst an office of seven women (one being his wife), he doesn't stand much of a chance. He's a true motorcyclist with more than 30 years of experience in insurance. A strong Rossi supporter hence a fair bit of 46 memorabilia around the office.
Alana -
Team Manager & Pit Crew
Employed by Kiwibike in 2012. Alana is our self-confessed bossy person in the office but also our go-to person/problem solver. She has two sons who have a passion for dirt biking whenever they can.
Rachel -
Renewals Scrutineer & Pit Crew
Rachel has been with Kiwibike for over four years now and specialises in renewal processing. She has also taken on the role of the renewal training processes. Rachel has a passion for photography.

Claims Scrutineer & Pit Crew
Sarah joined Kiwibike in January 2018. Not only does she have experience in the insurance industry, she keeps us well fed with her amazing cake creations. We will keep her on.

Marketing Support & Pit Crew
Jamie is back at Kiwibike after many years away having her three children. It is great to have her back. Jamies main role is Marketing support however she also supports the rest of the team in their roles.

Direct Debit Specialist & Pit Crew
Alisha has now been with Kiwibike for over a year. Alisha has an extensive administration background and we are excited to have her as part of the team. Her husband owns many bikes and has a huge passion for motorcycling.

Pit Crew
Josh is the newest recruit to the Kiwibike team. Dave is very pleased to have another male in the office! Josh has many years experience in the motor vehicle industry as a glass technician. This expertise will come in very handy once we launch the KiwiCar website.
