Started by Dave & Donna Hewer in 1999, Kiwibike Insurance Brokers is a leading supplier of insurance services for motorcyclists.
On 1st April 2025, Alana Anderson who had worked for Dave & Donna since 2011, purchased the business, and continues with the support of her valued team to provide the same outstanding service to current and future clients. The Kiwibike team are very passionate about not only insurance but also motorcycling and motorcyclists.

Alana
Alana was employed by Kiwibike in 2011 and in 2025 purchased the business. The change from employee to Managing Director has been seamless after her long term with the company. Alana is extremely passionate about growing the business whilst maintaining excellent customer service.
Sarah
Our own inhouse Claims Manager with years of experience in insurance. Sarah started with Kiwibike in 2018 with a wealth of knowledge working for other insurers and brokers. Her quickly appreciated comprehension of the industry led her to her current role. The role requires a high level of administration, negotiation and an intricate knowledge of each underwriters policy wording which Sarah has mastered.
Alisha
Alisha has been with Kiwibike since 2020 bringing with her an extensive administration background. When she is not in the office you can find her out in nature soaking up the sun. She has a young son who is an avid motorcycle collector (Thanks to his father).
Rachel
Rachel has been with Kiwibike since 2016 administering new business, processing renewals and everything in between. Having been around for a while now, she lends a hand to staff training which she finds very rewarding and enjoyable.
Jamie
Jamie is back at Kiwibike after many years away having her three children. It is great to have her back. Jamies main role is renewal processing and marketing however she also supports the rest of the team in their roles.
Josh
Josh has many years experience in the motor vehicle industry as a glass technician, this expertise will come in very handy once we launch the Kiwi Car website. If you are setting up a policy on our website, Josh will likely be the one to email you through your confirmed policy documents.
Brook
Brook has always been passionate about motorcycles and has a deep understanding of the thrill and freedom they offer. This deep passion and understanding of motorcycles equip him to provide unparalleled service to clients. Brook aims to ensure clients can hit the road with peace of mind.
Events & riders we sponsor
Kiwibike are well known across the race tracks sponsoring riders, events and tracks themselves. Our passion for racing has led us to sponsor a number of successful previous riders, Kendal & Matt Dunlop and Nicki Smith, but currently Esmond Williams does us extremely proud.
Esmond holds the Hyosung Cup Endurance trophy from 2023. He has been very successful in the Hyosung Cup overall in the past number of years.
